Jumping ahead a bit, here's another slab creation that I did in about five minutes, pressing my hand so it looked like something is trapped behind the surface. The glaze in this case turned out better than I hoped, because it has a kind of stressed metallic look that (in person) is somewhat unsettling in its organic and manufactured mix.
