At a science museum in San Francisco, the point of the big chair to the right was that each length of wood had been doubled from standard measurements yet the chair ended up being four times bigger than a regular chair. I sat in the big chair and Steve took a picture (see it in the California gallery), with me pretending to be really small. Then Steve wanted to sit in this chair, and I took his picture. Afterwards, he said, "I was trying to look big, but I didn't really feel like much of a giant in that chair." And I pointed out, "That's because it's just a regular chair." Still, you can see by his "I'm big" face that he's trying valiantly to convey that impression.
