For those who enjoy fashion details, remember that my generous and talented mom very amazingly made my dress. I sewed the beads (so many tiny little things) onto the sleeves, working on it up to the last minute before Steve arrived in Massachusetts (and breaking the needle with the last one, which I thought was meaningful), and made my veil, hairpiece, and hairdo. Fake oysters made my fake pearl jewelry. Steve made his own tux. No, not really. But he did do his own hair.
