Shakespeare's Globe Theatre! It was under construction when I was here last, and Steve & I were dying to see it. Unfortunately, it was too early in the season for plays ... or maybe fortunately, since we would have had to be groundlings who stand in the middle under the open (raining) sky. And, yes, it's in black and white. From this point on, Steve took over the color film, and I had fun with b/w. The iron gate there we found out was donated by Ford, Steve's dad's company. When we visited in 1996, I donated enough for a brick, I believe. I have a certificate around here somewhere!
