To keep to our goal of cheapie Seattle fun, we enjoyed ourselves looking around Seattle Center, avoiding admission fees. Here's the Pacific Science Center from the outside. It, the Space Needle, and the monorail were all designed as part of the 1962 World's Fair. (Do you like my quasi-futuristic city life? I do like this architecture, and the monorail is smooth. The Space Needle was supposedly the office building of the future, but there's one problem they forgot the office space.)
