The Lynks knew Tim from Pennsylvania. We talked with him for awhile about how we just upped and moved out here because we liked it and how we worked for an Illinois company from Seattle. He said he really loved his visits to Seattle and had started to work partially from home but had had to move from State College to Pittsburgh, which he didn't like as much. Later in the fall, I met Tim again at a seminar hosted by Mars Hill Graduate School (where Christie works). He told me he was so inspired by our experience that he had worked things out with his company and moved to Seattle to work for them from here! He's now signed up for a dozen classes at Mars Hill and loving it. (And a note on the picture: Yes, people routinely stand this far away from us, due to our overpowering chemical essence.)
