I stepped out of the overnight train from Paris into Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof and went, "Ohhh ..." — I had forgotten that this train station was the terminus of many a duty-train excursion from Berlin. The duty train brought us through what was then East Germany overnight and landed us in the West here in the morning. Lots of memories of youth group tours, shopping adventures, and school trips, all starting and ending here.
