FRANKFURT
Our night train from Paris deposited us in Frankfurt, which gave us the opportunity to visit Diane Willms from my JFK Schule days.

BERLIN
I wanted to see how much Berlin had changed since I left in 1990 -- plenty! It was very exciting to be back. We stayed with Juliane (Lischka) Haentsch, also a friend from JFK.

MUNICH
Another friend from my Berlin years (but an American), Kelly Whittier, was in Vienna for the year. On our way to Austria, we stopped for a day in Munich.
