This horse guard (the technical term for a guard on a horse) sits (or actually shuffles slightly back and forth) in front of a government building of some sort, I forget, because I was entranced by the pretty horsey. It was also disconcerting because, unlike guards with the funny tall black furry hats (actually, this guy has a pretty funny hat, too) who have to stare straight ahead no matter what (the subject of many an English vacation movie scene), this one kept looking at me. Maybe I looked dangerous with my camera. Anyway, the kids thought he was pretty cool.
