EUROPE, APRIL-MAY '01: OXFORD, ENGLAND
The weekend we arrived in England, the trains were running on a holiday schedule. They were also in the middle of repair work. Which meant that our train to Oxford became a bus halfway through -- it actually gave us a nice glimpse of the countryside, though. Once it dropped us off in the center of town, we had no idea how to get to our hostel. We asked at Tourist Information, and the guy there directed us to a bus ... unfortunately, the wrong one. Anyway, this is our first view of Oxford center, Carfax Tower. I was excited despite being tired and lost.
