Working again with Steve Elzinga's charitable donation, and taking plenty of pictures for him and his wife to enjoy, we tackled the Eiffel Tower. I actually had been too poor to go up it the last time I was here. My friends and I had had just enough money left either to pool and buy a bottle of wine for dinner or to go up -- so we chose the wine and taking fuzzy pictures of the tower in the dark afterward.
