This is the Holocaust memorial, "Nameless Library," in Judenplatz in the Jewish District. It represents a library of books with spines turned toward the inside, with the names of Concentration Camps running along the base. This plaza has seen its share of genocidal horror — it's the site of synagogue ruins where a medieval pogrom prompted a mass suicide.
