The Belvedere Palace was built as the summer residence of Prince Eugene. You know, of Savoy. Good ol' Gene. OK, I don't know who that is either. But it's now an art museum, the Austrian Gallery Belvedere, filled with spiffy stuff, such as the world's largest collection of Gustav Klimt paintings. The gardens, as you can see, are equally lovely to visit. In the summer, of course, there would be flowers blooming.
