PEMBROKE II, EAST COAST, APRIL '03
After an exruciating trip through security at Providence (including having our multitudinous undeveloped rolls of film hand scanned), we voluntarily bumped ourselves from our 6 a.m. flight to earn free passes on a future flight. Then we fluffed up our contraband-free backpacks as pillows and sank into sleep until our evening boarding. Fortunately, our cat sitter, Carrie, was able to come one last time to feed Luna and spoil her rotten. When we got home, the kitty was very happy to see us and quickly let us know how she was now accustomed to be treated. ("If you're home, you're playing with me!") Note the new fish toy Carrie left, along with several other cat-delighting goodies. We were glad to be home, glad Luna and the apartment were OK, and glad to have had a wonderful trip!
