The reason we chose late May-early June for our trip was because it was just before the busiest season but still held a good possibility of fair weather (unlike our 2001 trip), since we knew we'd be spending most of our time outdoors. We were blessed with mild and sunny days, which we took advantage of by writing for hours in the parks. Here's Steve hard at work on his children's novel. He'd read parts to me at bedtime, and it's very cool.
