ENGLAND, MAY-JUNE '04
After picnicking in the adjacent Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens, we wandered over to Kensington Palace to see where Queen Victoria grew up in homey splendor. There were two fun girly exhibits as well: a striking collection of the current Queen Elizabeth's many hats and a sampling of Diana's gowns through her many fashion eras.
Then we went to the Orangery on the grounds, now an elegant tea room.
Doesn't this look like a postcard? It tasted as good as it looked!
